The strange case of an informant

Le prove che i giornalisti accreditati dal sistema siano reticenti su molti argomenti fondamentali sono tante, e il libro ne mette in evidenza diverse.
Qual è la differenza fra informazione e propaganda?
La prima non può ignorare il terreno storico, politico o economico su cui si incentra la notizia, mentre la seconda trae forza dall’ignorarlo. This book sets itself the goal of bringing to light some characteristics of information mediatica attuale, attraverso un personaggio molto apprezzato anche in ambienti culturali, che negli ultimi tempi ha ricevuto diversi premi e riconoscimenti.
Prendendo a pretesto un giornalista molto popolare come Travaglio, che si spaccia per indipendente, faremo un viaggio verso i tabù dell’informazione, toccando argomenti come il signoraggio bancario, l’11 settembre, le scie chimiche, la questione di Israele, i “poteri forti” che creano la “casta”, la mafia e il sistema di corruzione dei partiti.
Capire i meccanismi di manipolazione mediatica è fondamentale dato che il controllo mediatico può creare consenso o dissenso. Potrebbe avere addirittura il potere di spingere ad agire contro i propri interessi.
Capire questi meccanismi significa oggi poter rivendicare quella democrazia tanto decantata quanto impedita.
